went to watch DIM SUM DOLLIES!! on wednesday. it was really satirical and lame at some parts. like when the six hunky male dancers stripped to their pink underwear. that was just upping the sleaze factor. haha. they did a section on food court aunties, showing how singaporeans "chope" a table with a piece of tissue; a bollywood dance; mini dum sum dollies lamenting about going to primary one ; a display of the unloved singapore icons: the merlion, vanda ms joaquim, and the singapura cat; etc. hossan leong was hilarious! dressed as a woman mosttimes, and he's a genius on the piano. i was really amazed that he has such a gift. soo envious. thanks lots doug & engie! we had grreaat box seats too..woohoo.
celebrated lijia's birthday the past saturday. =D my beloved friend, leader and sista-in-christ! she was so surprised that many people turned up that she cried. soo touching. she got 21 presents..how cool is that. *i wouldn't mind 20 presents next year muahaha* anyways, i'm really glad she liked what i made for her. coz i was kinda paiseh to give it to her after she got 21 fabulous presents. but yeah, kewl. :) will post some pix later.
