and wandered further on

this dipping, unruly road.

before me lies unseen

shuddering

unheard footfalls,

distant echoes of-

encroaching pain

anger that bruises the edges;

blinding joy entirely

in the smile. And the

gleaming promise of hope

love the eyes sparkle

full of life

beyond me.
